Aloha Friday! Help!!!

According to An Island Life:

“In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.”

I tend not to be too neat. I get necessary things done around the house and welcome an help I can get. However, there is one thing that I MUST do myself…load the dishwasher. No matter how it is loaded, I always think I can do it better, fit more in, make better use of space, etc. So silly. I usually reorganize the whole thing if someone else puts a puts of dishes in…

My question today?

Are there any chores that you refuse help on, or re-do if someone else does for you?

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at today’s installation of Aloha Friday at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

laundry!! i’d like for everyone else to just stay the heck away from the laundry!!! i have my own way of doing it and i can’t stand wrinkles.

and it’s not that impose this on anyone else, i really just want to do it myself!

i don’t think it’s too silly though because last time my boyfriend washed anything he ruined it!

happy weekend!

Love when hubby helps me vacuum…but his definition of clean and mine are a bit different. I go under chairs..he goes around! So I guess that’s the cleaning I end up doing again!

Yes making the bed. Hubs just throws everything on. My bed has to be made before I get in it to sleep.

Oh yes, doing the dishes! And folding laundry. Sometimes I wonder how my husband ever survived being single! :-)

Laundry!!!!Specifically t-shirts! I fold them like the “GAP”, my husband folds them like a tissue thrown in the trash. I just tell him to not fold anymore! Thanks but no thanks!

Folding laundry. Someone else can wash it and dry it but I HAVE to fold it or it just isn’t done right!!

Anything else is fair game – someone else get everything else done, please! :)

Good question! I am a bit of a perfectionist and find help hard to accept. I am getting better though!

Putting away my clothes and the kids’ clothes. I like to control what goes in what drawer, what needs to be hung up, what needs to be packed away in the attic, etc. Also, I’m pretty crazy about putting all the toys in their right spots.

I have a specific way I load the dishwasher. I don’t mind if someone does it for me, as long as they don’t try to “help”. Then I just end up rearranging everything.

I normally just don’t want help cleaning my own room (with the exception of making my bed). Other people just don’t clean my room quite right.
