I’ll sit at my computer, search for recipes, housecleaning ideas, general info on how to make life with kids healthier and easier. I could write a book. I just couldn’t follow it. I have a data base of recipes that I’ve never tried, and a decluttering and organizational plan sitting on my desk (under a pile of papers, but I’m sure it’s there somewhere!) I’m not much for schedules or organized activities, but try to veer from the few routines that I do follow, and watch out! Especially bedtime. Do not even attempt to get in the way of the bedtime routine. Go ahead and finish putting them down for the night. He will grow weary of the chore and then leave you alone. Its worth a try for a few nights. Alyssa didn't go to bed until later and we eeked ever last minute of the day together. I stayed home the first 7 years of her life and never thought of it as work and I didn't care about free time. But most people feel like you and not me. I'm weird that way. I could only have one child and now that she is 16, I have no regrets for how much time I didn't spend without her.
