I’m a busy mom. I need to unwind. How do I do this? With some obvious and not so obvious tricks…
10. Reading: I love to read, but admit my tastes are not very literary. I like quick crime books and trashy magazines. US weekly is always a favorite.
9. Sudoko: I love Sudoku, and all other logic puzzles. Yes, I’m very nerdy. When I became a mom for the first time, I was so overwhelmed that I kept a Sudoku book in the bathroom cabinet. When things got rough, I had to ‘go.’ I’m sure J thought there was something seriously wrong with my body.
8. Twitter: I love seeing what everyone is up to and meeting new friends. People who are around other adults all day sometimes forget how isolating it can be to be at home with kids.
7. On the same token – Facebook: I am connecting with friends from grade school. How great is that? Like a chat room, but you know everyone in it…
6. Solitude: So, I’m sure this is obvious, but sometimes I just need to be alone. I’ll make sure the girls are safe and then hop in the shower or go up to my room for a few minutes. A new mom emerges every time!
5. Driving: I love to drive. It started when I was on maternity leave with M. I would just drive around with a coffee while she slept and all was well…
4: My Laptop: Sometimes you just need to look at something that has nothing to do with kids…Perez, Failblog, doesn’t really matter…
3. Blogging: I’m new to this, but loving it more every day.
2. TV: Since we’re talking guilty pleasures, here are some: Ghost Hunters, Wipeout, America’s Funniest Home Videos, Big Brother
1. Sleep. Given an hour, I would always choose sleep. Given 5 minutes, I would choose sleep. Always.

great post you should have a link so people can put their ten interative blogs
Oh, yeah. Books and Twitter get my vote every time. have you ever read the Stepahnie Plum series by Janet Evanovich? They are chick-lit and detective stories rolled into one. So fun!
We are twins. Besides #5, I would say my list is exactly the same! Down to Sudoku! LOL!
I love love this list! Books, blogs, sudoku, drives…all of it!
I love to be alone. I love silence.
And when I drive alone, I break out all my music with the bad words and sexual lyrics!
How completely fun are you? Not only do I see links and buttons to some of my favorite bloggers, but you also appreciate the finer points of social media and sleep.
If this site is not the perfect trifecta of blogging, then I am not sure what is.
