Thankfully I am the “champion of avoiding housework” so my house is NOT spotless nor do I want it to be. Its CLEAN but not glove clean.
I am too busy finding myself distracted on facebook and farmtown. LOL

When my husband starts with the cleaning thing, I tell him he’s welcome to take care of it himself. He’ll grumble about me not wanting him too because he’ll just throw everything away. I say “okay”. Then he walks away. End of discussion. Be glad your husband actually wants to participate.

LOL!!! If strangers can’t see it, there is no need for it to be clean in my mind. My closets are a total wreck!!!

Oh my Gosh! I swear I could have written this same post, but not done it as well. You worded it perfectly!! This is exactly like at my house. Glad to know I am not the only one. The only difference is my husband does LOUD SIGHING!

OMG–I always interpret my husband’s cleaning as a passive-aggressive guilt trip, too! But…er…I’m the one who does that. For some reason, I always scrub the stove when I’m mad (and often work up a good cry).

I bet my Paradise is messier than yours! It’s partly because we don’t have much for closets to mess up. Our kitchen and computer room (the two rooms the kids don’t have free access to) are the dumping grounds and are horrendous. But like you, becoming Martha Stewart is my absolute last priority.
