When I ran my anniversary contest, I asked for questions to answer in future posts. I’m going to answer a few of the questions each week, starting at the beginning. Here I go:
From Loukia at Loulou’s Views:
My question: What is your favourite thing about being a mom?
That my daughter enjoys brushing my hair as much as I enjoy getting my hair brushed.
Kidding. Sort of.
I love when either of the girls learn new things. My oldest is picking up on everything, such a smart cookie, and Abs is really starting to talk so well. She surprises me with the new things she says every day. It reminds me to watch my mouth…
Favourite movie growing up?
Tough call. Probably Girls Just Wanna have Fun. Or Goonies. Or Footloose. Or Clue. Perhaps American Anthem or Can’t Buy me Love? I love 80′s movies!
Jacob or Edward?
Believe it or not, this is a tough one for me. I *think* I’m getting over Edward. Not quite on Team Jacob yet…still on the Team Edward bench. New Moon changed a lot for me. Jacob’s treatment of Bella in the book and movie made me think twice. As did his abs. Especially after seeing Edward shirtless at the end. What was UP with his weird disproportionate nipples?

My favorite thing about being a mom are the hugs and kisses.
Never really had a favorite movie
Edward is the one for Bella, but am I interested in a pale, bony, freezing cold partner? No way. Jacob is hot, hot and hot. I enter the world of fiction where I, too, am a teen and the 32yo mom doesn’t think about Taylor.

Great answers! My favourite part of being a mom is seeing my boys interact with one another, hearing my 2 year old say his brother’s name, sleeping next to my baby’s, and the kisses and laughter.
I loved Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Troop Beverly Hills, Annie, Adventure’s In Babysitting, The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink.
And I love Edward. LOVE. But… Jacob is amazing too…. I imagine Eclipse might bring more girls over to the Team Jacob side!

I love 80s movies. I was so excited when Girls Just Wanna Have Fun was on tv last week.
I’d have to go with Jacob. He treats her right. And he’s hot. Eventhough I felt really dirty learning that he wasn’t even 18 when I was watching that movie.

So fun that you are doing this!
My favourite thing of being a mom is discovering my children’s personalities, likes and dislikes as they get older. It’s fascinating and entertaining and I’m always reminding myself that I made these little people.
My favourite movie, without a doubt, is You’ve Got Mail. Corny I know, but I just love it!
I am an Edward girl all the way. No giving up the romance and awe!
‘HEY YOU GUYS…….” I love the Goonies. I have the special edition DVD and I can not wait until my daughter is old enough to watch it with me. Granted, we have a ways to go until she is old enough, but still. LOVE IT! And, I just watched Footloose the other night and have been thinking that I need a Pretty in Pink or a Breakfast Club fix soon!
One of my favorite things about being a mom is sitting on the couch with Mads right after she gets out of the tub. She is all steamy and warm and that smell is just intoxicating! LOVE IT.
And, well, I will NOT comment about Team Jacob/Edward. I *thought* you were firmly entrenched in Team Edward. *tsk, tsk*

I love Captain Sparkles, don’t get me wrong. I think it was the bad make up job in New Moon that took him down a notch. And the fact that I couldn’t wash my clothes on his stomach like a certain werewolf who shall remain nameless.
