Why, oh why, can this girl – who can fall asleep standing up – not manage to sleep in her comfy crib for a full night?
{and why is she wearing the same outfit in 3 out of 4 pictures, though they were on 4 different days?}

She falls asleep anywhere because she’s not getting good night time sleep! Poor thing (you I mean). Sleep issues are the worst. You have to deal with them when you are exhausted too. Do you think if she didn’t share a room with her sister you could let her CIO a little bit? It’s the only thing that works with Nathan. If I go in every time he calls for me then he just keeps doing it, but if I let him be he generally goes back to sleep. Don’t get me wrong, if he is really crying and all worked up, I’ll go in and calm him down, but he always has to go back to sleep by himself.

We thought about trying to separate them, but neither one wants to be in the room alone. Surprisingly, M can sleep through anything for 30 minutes or so, but it’s the neighbors we worry about more. Not sure how much they can hear.
And you’re right…there are some days, after being up all night, that I could certainly fall asleep standing up!
awwww……..super adorable!

I love that she’s in the same outfit for 3 days! We used to have to pry my son’s rubber boots off his feet @ night & we’ll still find them on him when we got him up.
She looks so adorable. It’s what helps us make it through those Looooonnnnnnggggg nights, eh?

That is amazing! My husband has the exact same gift…the ability to sleep anywhere. I kid you not, he’s been known to come in the door and lay down on the kitchen floor and grab a few zzzzs. My children are NOT the same.

is that a favourite outfit?
I have a photo of mine at that age fast asleep on the sofa (it’s the same colour too!) in an absolute mass of crumbs from rice crackers. She must have had them all through her clothes, but it didn’t disturb her sleep!

It’s one of those easy outfits. Warm enough for Winter, and comfy. We have the same outfit in 3 colors, but she happened to be wearing the green in all the photos – maybe it’s sleep-inducing!
Oh yeah, guess who just gave up and let Gunnar watch cartoons at 2:30 a.m. because I knew he was more likely to pass back out on the couch than in his bed? Bonus points if you can guess who’s been up ever since, and it doesn’t rhyme with Fanny or Ryan….
Despite how frustrated you must be, those pics are adorable!

Sleeping pictures are some of my all time favorites, heheh
Mine, too – unless I’m looking at them with a non-sleeping version of her running around me like a maniac. Like now…
She is SO cute! I sometimes wish my kids would sleep anywhere.

My daughter did, well still does the same thing and she is 10. I have had to wake her up in the bathroom many times.
She looks so cute though, and the bright side is that at least she sleeps.
ha! The one of her sleeping standing with her head on the couch is priceless.
